The new song "Koko ni Iru" was released digitally on July 3rd, 2026 (Friday), and the music video was also released on the same day.
"Koko ni Iru" is the ending theme for the TV anime "Iwamoto Senpai no Susumei," which will begin airing on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Written and composed by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo, this ballad is about confirming one's own existence by saying "I am here now," even while harboring unspoken feelings in days filled with comparisons and uncertainty about what the right answer is.
The sound gently accompanies those who are unsure of their choices and decisions but still strive to move forward, and combined with WOLF HOWL HARMONY 's straightforward vocals, it delicately portrays quiet struggles and the determination to move forward.
The music videowas directed by YERD, who also directed the previous single "PLEASE".
The filming took place in a Japanese house modeled after Western architecture, evoking a Meiji and Taisho retro feel, which also links to the historical setting of the TV anime "Iwamoto-senpai no Susume," the anime for which the song is used as a tie-in.
The concept is "ROOM OF LONELINESS".
This video captures the four individuals, each grappling with loneliness, within a stately Western-style mansion, using serene angles and delicate lip-syncing to portray their presence in that setting.
Furthermore, the striking editing, utilizing a red background and multiple camera angles, visually expresses the fluctuating emotions and conflicting feelings. The resulting music video allows viewers to feel the song's message of "Even though I'm lost, I'm still here" more deeply.
Please enjoy both the song and the music video.

<☆Taku Takahashi's comment>
"Kokoni Iru" is a ballad that resonates with those who, despite being uncertain about their choices and decisions, still strive to move forward.
We created this song with careful attention to sound and vocals, emphasizing space and restraint, so that the fluctuations of emotion would be conveyed naturally. WOLF HOWL HARMONY 's straightforward expressiveness and delicate emotional expression give this song a special kind of persuasive power.
I hope this song resonates with each listener's own life and experiences, and becomes a song that gently encourages them.
<YERD Director's Notes>
The theme of this work is "loneliness."
The word "loneliness" somehow evokes a sense of exclusivity towards the world, or conversely, an image of being isolated from the world. It feels like a rather delicate word, doesn't it?
But personally, I believe that humans are inherently "lonely" creatures.
Because even with our parents, siblings, close friends, and even our partners, we can never truly understand each other completely. Not in a lifetime.
But it's also true that humans can't live alone. Humans are complicated, aren't they?
If we humans are such complicated people, to put it in a somewhat extreme way, I think all we can do is to gradually share with others the "loneliness" that only we know, and to understand the differences and disparities between us.
Many of us gradually, and sometimes selfishly, reveal our feelings, values, and thoughts to others in this way.
That's what communication is, and that's what life is all about, I think.
Perhaps it was only when we understood the "loneliness" of ourselves and others that we truly grasped the essence of the word "kindness."
With those thoughts in mind, I worked with each member on set to discuss and refine their approach to conveying emotions and managing their facial expressions.
Wolf Howl Harmony is really cool when they're singing.
It's so much fun to capture the expressions and singing voices of the four members.
This was another great project.
<Comment from member RYOJI>
I am truly delighted to be in charge of the ending theme for "Iwamoto-senpai no Susumei".
This is our first anime tie-in project, and we are very honored.
When we received this song from ☆Taku Takahashi, we reconsidered our purpose and the path we should take, and we discussed these feelings amongst ourselves as members.
I sing this song with the hope that it can gently encourage those who are struggling with something but still trying to move forward.
I hope this song will be an ending theme that allows viewers to reflect on the story and the feelings of the characters as soon as it starts playing, and immerse themselves in the lingering emotions.
Please enjoy it along with the artwork.
