WOLF HOWL HARMONY, with their "voice" and "proof of existence" resonating in "Koko ni Iru / PLEASE" WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE is now striving to become "WOLF HOWL HARMONY" in the truest sense of the word.
The double A-side single "Koko ni Iru / PLEASE," to be released on August 19, 2026, is a work that directly reflects the current state of the four-member group consisting of RYOJI, SUZUKI, GHEE, and HIROTO.
A four-member group specializing in singing and rapping, and the smallest lineup within EXILE TRIBE. Born from the "iCON Z Chapter Two" audition, which attracted approximately 48,000 applicants, they have steadily expanded their activities both domestically and internationally, including in Thailand and Brazil, since their debut.
Throughout their journey, the four members have re-examined something that they consider to be their core: their "voice." RYOJI says of the current WOLF HOWL HARMONY, "I feel like we've become the 'true WOLF HOWL HARMONY'."
Over the course of their approximately three years of activity, through encounters with music, challenges in dance, and experiences abroad, they feel that "what we have been working on and trying to create ourselves is finally taking shape." In this way, the time, doubts, pain, and hopes that each member has experienced are all conveyed through their voices, making WOLF HOWL HARMONY 's music more than just pop music; it touches the lives of listeners.

Leader RYOJI asserts that the group's strength lies in "the harmony created by intertwining singing voices with life stories." The appeal of RYOJI's voice lies in its deep bass. GHEE, whose father is of Japanese-Brazilian descent and whose mother has European-Brazilian roots, goes on to speak further: "I think we're a group that can use our voices to do things like save someone who truly wants to disappear tomorrow." His words carry weight. But they also have GHEE's characteristic passion and straightforwardness. His voice possesses a rock-like strength, the sharpness of his rap, and soaring high notes. "While other groups would use dance to get the crowd going, we decided to do something unique to us through our singing. Through stages like 'WOLF HOWL HARMONY LIVE & FAN MEETING TOUR 2025 ～BAKUON DREAM～,' the four of us have come to confront our own singing more deeply," he says. SUZUKI's voice is versatile and flexible. His bandmates praise him, saying, "He's incredibly good at expressing nuances." He himself says, "I focus more on singing songs that get the message across than on singing perfectly." True to his word, his singing is adept at creating vivid imagery. ● "PLEASE" is a frank love letter to LOVERED.

"PLEASE" (released digitally on May 20, 2026), delivered by these four, is a song that is like an incredibly frank love letter to their fans (LOVERED).

Produced by Chaki Zulu and LOAR, key figures in the hip-hop crew/collective YENTOWN, the track is based on alternative R&B/electro-pop, but features a spacious track, a tropical feel, and an approachable J-POP melody. RYOJI recalls his first impression of the song, saying, "It's a song that everyone can enjoy together at festivals and outdoor concerts." The summery atmosphere, the refreshing feeling of the sea, and the overseas beat feel, combined with the Japanese melody and lyrics, create a sense of distance that is characteristic of WOLF HOWL HARMONY.

GHEE says, "We created this song with LOVERED in mind, so it's a song we're very attached to." As their activities overseas increased, they also realized how lonely LOVERED was. There were feelings they hadn't been able to properly convey. That's why they thought, "We want to properly convey our love, our thoughts, and our feelings to everyone." "PLEASE" was born from that.

HIROTO described the recording process as "singing with my whole body, with my soul." He said he clenched his fists when singing "Please Please," and poured so much emotion into the song that his voice was a little hoarse after recording. He was particularly meticulous about his own pronunciation and phrasing in the line "I'm so scared." As he said, "I focused on singing in a way that conveys my feelings as my true self," and indeed, "PLEASE" is a song where raw emotion is more important than polished vocals.

Produced by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo, this song exudes a unique sense of weightlessness from the piano phrase in the intro. RYOJI recalls, "I grew up listening to a lot of m-flo." The sound is sprinkled with special elements, but it's not just the producer's style. It's a soundscape that connects the worldview of the anime "Iwamoto-senpai no Susume" with the voices of the four members of WOLF HOWL HARMONY, based on an understanding of their voices.

"Koko ni Iru" depicts the feeling of being compared to others, being judged as incompatible, and the wavering sense of one's place in the world when there is no clear answer. It conveys a quiet determination to confirm one's existence, "I am here now," while harboring unspoken feelings.

Reflecting on his debut, GHEE reveals, "There was a time when I wondered why I was singing again." Groups that debuted after him were achieving great success first. He wondered what his strengths should be. Such doubts are not uncommon. But he says he came to believe that "continuing to hone the strengths I have absolute confidence in will lead to an aura and something of myself."

That's why, for GHEE, "Koko ni Iru" (I'm Here) is also connected to "PLEASE." "The reason I'm here, the reason I continue to sing, is because of all the LOVEREDs, and because there's even just one person who listens to my singing." These words are key to understanding this single as a whole.

SUZUKI says of these two songs, "It really feels like I'm looking at the same thing from both the front and the back." The single will also include "Marmalade Sweet ver." "Marmalade" was a track from their previous EP, and this will be an arranged version. RYOJI said, "We've nurtured 'Marmalade' together with all the LOVEREDs through our live performances," and described it as "a marmalade that has become sweeter thanks to everyone's love."
